pci agp video board

PCI or AGP Video board?

I have Vista up and running on a second HD on my Sony Vaio, 5 year old desktop. By going into the BIOS at boot up I can decide which drive to use as primary which allows me to do XP or Vista. This way I don't have to worry about screwing up my old system. I use USB 2.0 external hard drives for my storage needs and back up (I added a USB 2.0 card).
System: Sony Vaio PCV-RG24Z 2.6 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 Processor 2 Gig of RAM Plenty of hard drive space Giga Pocket card for pulling in Video and built in Cable/TV Tuner nVidia MX440 AGP video card 64 Meg
Obviously I can’t run Aero Glass, but I would like to replace the video card so I can. My question is this: Should I replace the video card with an nVidia 6200 OC PCI card or similar? I have an empty PCI slot.
Or should I get an AGP card and put it in the open slot where the old card was?
My choices are somewhat limited because all the newer video cards only work with the PCI Express Mother Boards, which of course mine is not. I could switch to ATI but would prefer nVidia.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

AGP -- no brainer.

Thanks, that's what I'll get.

No, PCIe are the new fast standard, PCI cards are old, and hard to find. I would be surprised if any of them could run AeroGlass

AGP faster than PCI then?

AGP is faster than PCI PCIe is faster than AGP Therefore, PCIe is faster than PCI.
The OP doesn't have a PCIe slot, just AGP and PCI, so AGP is the best choice.
Tom

My PC have an Nvidia Geforce FX5200 PCI card with 128 megabytes of RAM and aero glass works fine on it.

I picked up the nVidia 6600 AGP board and it is working fine. Had a few system freeze's at first but once I removed the drivers and installed the nVidia Vista beta drivers it is working fine. I have Aero glass! Plus of course the system runs faster because of the 256 meg on the graphics card. By the way, the Windows XP side of the dual boot system works better and faster as well. I can't wait to re-load the Sims II and see the improvement.
Thank you all for your help and education.
Mark
On a side note I am thinking that my next PC I may build it myself.
